Circle of Fire plus Waterfalls

Circle of Fire plus Waterfalls tour, organized by Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, offers you the opportunity to visit the most active geological environment on Earth.

The visit starts from Hilo and allows you to fly over the whole eastern sector of Big Island.
You will be seated in a state-of-the-art Airbus AS350 helicopter, for 50 minutes of wonder over the most active craters in the Pacific and the incredible lava flows that stretch for miles.

First, you will fly over Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, known worldwide for its impressive volcanoes that have been in constant activity for decades, its lava flows that cut roads and wash away homes and flow into the Pacific Ocean in huge plumes of water vapour.
Your helicopter will offer you breathtaking views of the volcano Kīlauea, reaching an altitude of 4087 feet, the Napau crack and the lava flows of the eastern rift.
You will also fly over other areas of the national park, which includes lava-filled environments, lush tropical forests and arid deserts.

Your tour will continue with the discovery of the majestic extinct volcano Mauna Kea and Hamakua Coast, including its superb jewel, Waipio Valley, with cliffs over 1968 feet high and waterfalls over 1181 feet high.
